Two patients have died of coronavirus-related complications in Lagos State, bringing the total number of COVID-19 fatalities recorded in the state to 18.
The state’s Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, made this known via his Twitter handle on Thursday. He also confirmed that 74 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Lagos on Wednesday.
“Total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos rises to 512. Lagos recorded two more COVID-19 related deaths. Total Lagos COVID-19 deaths are now 18,” he tweeted.
