The Scythe is located within The Cliffbottom Catacombs in the Liurnia of the Lakes region of Elden Ring. The large area is located in Elden Ring Runes the northern part of Stormveil Castle, and it is also the location of Limgrave. The easiest route to get there is to take a trip to the Lake-Facing-Cliffs Site of Grace just north of the encounter with Godrick his Grafted. From there, players are able to travel Northeast towards another Site of Grace called Liurnia Highway South. It is the Cliffbottom Catacombs are Northeast of this Site of Grace, directly east of the purified Ruins.

When players step to Cliffbottom Catacombs, once they enter Cliffbottom Catacombs, they'll find the Site of Grace and a long, dark staircase that leads down to a lever and elevator. Be cautious with the elevator, as there aren't any walls to keep them from falling while it is moving downwards. After reaching the bottom you will need to traverse the corridors to a vast room with a staircase descending downward and a statue in the distance. The Scythe is within the room that is directly behind the statue. However, players will have to walk through the entire length of the room to get there.

By entering the corridor at end of the stairs and then continuing along the path will put players in a room with a staircase. To access the Scythe it is necessary to head up the stairs and to the left, go into another corridor, and continue to the right until they come with the statue you saw at the start. The room next to it is a group of Imps that are quick to overwhelm the player if they aren't cautious. On the body, which is located in the middle in the area there is the Scythe.

The Scythe is a Dexterity and Strength weapon that has a pretty long reach and plenty of AOE potential, thanks to its quick and swift circular strikes. It's capable of stacking Blood Loss onto enemies, and will produce the destruction of a volley when enough stacks are achieved. The weapon requires 14 strength and 14 dexterity to wield and also comes equipped with the weapon's skill, Spinning Slash. The skill is priced at 6 FP to be used and it can be utilized again in rapid succession in order to "lengthen" the range of attacks.
