WHAT IS ORANGE SHIRT DAY?
It takes place annually on September 30th, but you can wear your orange shirt all year round to show your support!

The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30th opens the door for national conversations on all aspects of the IRSS (Indian Residential School System). It is an opportunity to create meaningful discussion about the effects of Residential Schools and the harsh legacy they have left behind. These discussions are something all Canadians can tune into, learn from, and create bridges to pave the way toward reconciliation. It is also a day for survivors to be reaffirmed that they matter. Every Child Matters, even if they are now an adult.

Among our small team, each of us are either a child or grandchild of a residential school survivor, including the company owner. If not for their resilience, none of us would be here today.

Each year we host an Orange Shirt Day fund raising campaign to raise awareness and raise funds for Indigenous led charities.
