Jade and James have known one another since they were 2 yrs old.

"Small world, but our parents knew one another," says Jade. "We also visited the secondary school together and James was my first boyfriend. However, because I was quite young, we chose to just be friends. Then, in 2012, we've got back together. Now, go forward 10 years, and that we have a nine-year-old son and also have recently got married!"

A ROMANTIC PROPOSAL IN PARIS

James proposed the surprise visit to Paris. "I had always wanted to go," says Jade. “He booked an attractive meal inside a lovely quiet romantic restaurant where he popped the question. I was absolutely within the moon. We celebrated late into the night and it'll always be our most memorable trips away."

BRIDAL SHOPS FEELTIMES

Jade visited the website www.feeeltimes.com. "We were greeted by the most wonderful staff and I tried on three dresses," she says. "I loved the first but my mother-in-law then started a new dress, mermaid wedding dress, which had just been put on the mannequin and I knew it had been my style."

"As soon as I slipped it on I welled up and felt so beautiful. Everything about it had been stunning and my closest family and finest friend said the same. It was an attractive moment and I didn't stop smiling for weeks, knowing I'd said yes towards the dress."

A DRAMATIC VENUE

The couple chose Ettington Park Hotel, in Stratford Upon Avon, for her wedding venue. "It's a gothic-style manor house most abundant in breathtaking grounds," says Jade. "It features its deer along with a church inside the grounds. As soon as we drove up towards the venue we simply knew. It took our breath away and when inside we were able to both consider our big day there. So we went straight ahead and booked it. Best decision ever! We got married around the 8th of October 2021 also it truly was the most amazing, memorable day."

THE BIG DAY

"Myself, my mother, our son Dylan and my mother-in-law and bridesmaid stayed in the venue the evening before the wedding, to make it extra special," says Jade. "In the morning we'd a champagne breakfast and from my room, we're able to see the deer out around the grounds. It was the most amazing morning to become getting ready to get married. It was a gentle October day and also the weather was perfect."

"My Dad walked me on the aisle to 'Can't Help Falling in Love With You' by Elvis, which James and I chose quite a while before the wedding," says Jade. "After the most amazing intimate ceremony, we'd canapés within the great drawing-room, together with Champagne and photos. This was followed by an attractive wedding breakfast as well as an amazing evening reception, that continued long into the night."

SPARKLING WHITE

"A wedding decor company dressed our ceremony room and wedding breakfast room," says Jade. "We decided on the mainly all-white theme, having a touch of sparkle, also it did not disappoint. Seeing the rooms decorated bought tears to the eyes making the planning so worthwhile."

"My mother-in-law made our cake. As well as being employed by the NHS she also makes cakes, and we had probably the most incredible white wedding cake, engraved with the initials 'JJ' with white roses. We also gave our guests gin favors, which I filled and labeled myself. They transpired a treat."

"In the evening our amazing DJ played music well into the night," says Jade. "Many people didn't log off the party area, it was the very best day."

"I think my most memorable moment was, after working the morning preparing with my loved ones and my bridesmaid was seeing James at the end of the aisle. You can't beat that feeling and lastly realize this is it, you're married!”

MY TOP TIPS…

"Plan ahead of time," says Jade. "It provides you with time to become excited and stress-free for your special day. In the morning attempt to relax and enjoy being pampered. Although it was nerve-wracking, preparing for the special day was among my favorite parts. Take some time out with your daughter's groom, just the two of you, around the day. It goes so quick, so attempt to take it in, even when it's just ten minutes to possess a glass of bubbly together."

"Lastly, appreciate it! You've probably planned it for some time, so enjoy your day. I wish we were able to do it all once again. It was the very best day."
