I'm of the opinion that RuneScape Gold this statement is an individual opinion, but it's a personal

one. I don't agree with everyone who says the game has become "un-old school" after the

introduction of Summoning. It's your opinion. I can understand that a lot of others are

of the same opinion however, that doesn't mean it's the right one.

I played Runescape throughout all the changes and , as huge in scope as these were, I

felt comfortable with the majority. The summoning feature was a new and interesting

ability and, while it could've more effective ways of learning it (mostly getting

charms) it was fun to play with various familiars. Ancient Curses were massive and Soul

Split was a game-changer, but I loved it; I wouldn't want it in OSRS but because it

drastically alters how the game works (maybe it could be nerfed or adjusted that prayer

would drain regardless of what it is it does, and can't be flicked). I really enjoyed

Dungeoneering, and would not prefer having it in OSRS (it's basically a modern CG that

is less boringand would have to be adjusted to match OSRS The rewards also were

offered).

Bonus XP weekend weekends weren't an experience I really enjoyed. The game felt low-end

and keeping items until the weekend made it feel like a poor game design. Changing HP

to Consitution didn't affect any significant amount, but it was an important change to

the way the game was. In the past, Effigies weren't a good idea for game design as they

changed the way skills worked completely and introduced a new metagame that was geared

towards slow skills. Korasi Sword wasn't the worst thing, but it significantly changed

the way PvP performed as it was a non-tradeable weapon that outclassed AGS/Claws and

devalued PvP IMO.

The Loyalty Program is a good idea, but it was accompanied with bonus XP rewards and

auras that just provided too many benefits to players that didn't already have them.

They also resulted in a myriad of cosmetics that were ugly and did not fit with the

game. The squeal of Fortune was the first step towards the end. This was the moment

that Jagex revealed that all they were concerned about was the money, and not the

players. Then there was the Evolution of Combat, this is when I left. It was the final

straw and also the most important of the bunch. I could've been content with anything

else however EoC created Runescape an entirely different game. (MTX was the second most

important factor, but it didn't have an impact on me, just devalued the game and my

accomplishments because people could purchase the game).

Every person has their own view as about the time Runescape was no longer Runescape for

them. Many of us here are of the opinion on the fact that EoC was the last straw. We

all hate MTX. But I think there are a handful of people who hate things like Summoning

Dungeoneering and Effigies (bullshit metas that op-skill) as well as the Loyalty

program (dumb non-fitting cosmetics) and Bonus XP (just plain bad game design, as 90%

of people haven't trained in summoning, herb or prayer or their toughest ability to

master until the weekend).

I'm of the opinion that many the "bad updates" aren't bad at all and were enjoyed by a

lot of gamers. You're right, some of them DONT fit OSRS, but that doesn't mean they

cannot be modified to work with OSRS and then be added (that rs3 gold for sale being that said, not

everything from the rs3 update should be added to OSRS too).
