Watson's hearing for disciplinary action with the league began on Monday, June 28 and was presided by retired US Federal Judge Sue Lewis Robinson. Robinson was appointed as the league's disciplinary agent jointly between both the Madden NFL 24 along with the MUT 24 Coins in accordance with the present collective bargaining contract.

In this current CBA, Watson and the Madden NFL 24PA have three days to appeal the decision in by writing and to Madden NFL 24 Commissioner Roger Goodell. Prior to the decision the Madden NFL 24PA together with Watson said they would follow the ruling of the arbitrator.

The report by Rob Maaddi at the Associated Press league sources, the league suggested it was possible that Madden NFL 24 was pushing for a minimum suspension of one year for Watson however Watson's attorney, Rusty Hardin, and his legal team wereand not by accident -advocating for no suspension. Maaddi also reported that the league might be willing to look at a shorter suspension of six to eight games to avoid appeals process.

The Madden NFL 24 is known to have been inconsistent in applying discipline to players accused of sexual or domestic violence assault. It all started with the suspension of two games of Former Ravens forward Ray Rice, who was found on video kicking his then-fianceeand which left her unconscious. The league was criticized for being able to suspend Rice for just two games, and its reaction was to suspend Rice indefinitely. After that, Madden NFL 24 was able to establish an eight-game suspension as the norm for players who cheap Madden NFL 24 Coins were involved in sexual violence or domestic violence.
