A majority of the recent deflections produced by the extended leg or foot can only be observed on replay, and from the some of the replays I've watched, I've noticed that these shots and especially the power variety -- would cause some painful injuries. Deflections and 50-50s are still favored by the AI, especially as you become used to the new body types and what they mean in terms of acceleration.

HyperMotion and realistic physical physics don't work. There's still a lot of sliding and unnatural movements that detract from what should be realistic outcomes. Sliders like OS' Community Sliders can slow the game down and make the game more realistic cheap FIFA 23 Coins, but they are only able to do only so much in terms of physics.
