Stick when catch and shoot or post fade. Button from anywhere in close. Works for me but it took a bit of practice. Isn't it harder to select your layup in case you utilize button? I have always fought with these controls and used stick for layups. I'd LOVE to be shooting 40% but I am blessed if I can hit 20%. I only play offline. I understand we have scrub players right now, and NBA 2K21 MT Coins I am a below average player but seriously even layups that are in the center of the meter are not going in. I don't even dare to try out a jump shooter. The AI appears to be absurd levels too. I understand they want to reward skill in 2k21 but this type of material will truly put off casual gamers and people new the 2K franchise and new to basketball matches.

I've been playing since 2K13 but I have never been that good of a participant. I'd say I'm average, but I know I should not be missing all of these 3s. My starter players've never played with this awful in 2k16,17,18,19 and 20. The only other 2K I played 2K20 was 2K13 and that was on PC. I improved a hell of a lot in 2K20 to the point where I could go as high as Superstar without using STS. However, this is a whole new level with a very different mechanic. I did fine at the demo and in the quickgames using the brand new shooting meter but can't hit the side of a barn here.

Only played the demo, however, the stick was much more dependable than button to get me. I have always been a button guy too. I have a 75 3 pointer, I think I greened one shooter in like 5 nba games. . Mostly wide open shots... and this was on allstar not even thinking to go in the rec center. . Genuinely shooting 2/16 in an offline triple hazard game on just layups and 1 open jumpshot that airballed on slightly early. Spent $100 with this bullshit lmao. Person that the shooting is extra nice right now but that I would recommend shot time like appearance for the que on the cartoon.

Yep I'm having difficulty with it as well. Started a game on My group heading 0/12 missing open 3s and midsize shots all around the area. I am all for them toning shots being nearly automatic but the system seems a little bit too unforgiving so far. Hopefully will start to Buy MT NBA 2K21 get better after a few more matches of becoming used to it. The game just came out and we have ta brand new meter using slightly different time.
