The Asheville Tourists announced Tuesday that J.C. Correa, brother of Carlos Correa, was named the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Jim Plunkett Jersey from July 11-17. The catcher went 13-for-16 with two home runs, six New England Patriots T Shirts doubles, nine RBI, seven runs scored and one walk with no strikeouts.The righty ranks fifth in the SAL in batting average (.311) and eighth in hits (78). Since May 1, Correa leads the entire Ty Law Jersey SAL and is seventh in all of Minor League Baseball in batting average (.349), per the Tourists.Correa made the switch to catcher from the infield this offseason to improve his versatility and his chances to climb through the Houston Astros' system. The 23-year-old has started New England Patriots Sleepwear Underwear 35 games behind the plate this season with 25 starts in the infield.Scroll to continueOutfielder Colin Barber also won the award for the first week New England Patriots Jackets of June.
