Correct me if I'm incorrect, but there hasn't been an NCAA game in like 5 years from what I can tell because of the licensing issues? Also, 2k is putting out an arcade NFL game sometime next year. Obviously not a sim such as Madden, but that really allows for something fresh, where a sim game can't really do much year to year.
You are missing the one thing they invest the most amount of cash into which is your rights to the players names in every game. I understand yeah is making a killing but you need to knock off their shady shit figure how much money they make to the NFL and see the NFL come knocking at their door for a larger cut Those matches ought to be every other year and only update rosters.
I'm surprised that they have not started selling the match twice a year. Gotta update them rosters to your transactions and injuries and Madden 21 coins these that occurred throughout this season!
Yeah. I mean if I were a madden dev and had the option to rerelease basically the same game every year working regular hours, fairly lame, poetry needing to recreate a top of the line franchise style working my ass off, I'd pick the former I'm positive.
Change won't come until there is some competition in the sim soccer world. They'll push MUT moneymaker till then for sure, and just do small tweaks to their bare bone franchise leagues I simply hate that it is a monopoly. The NFL should think about having multiple licensing deals for matches. I know 2K just got the permit, but 2 is just a step over 1.
Honestly EA seems to be doing OK with buy Mut 21 coins star wars lately. So I really hope that continues. I really don't have much hope but still... I think squadrons falls under the same category since the CC remaster. A fire project that EA got out of the way of.
