Education is a process of constant acquisition of new knowledge by an individual. In my understanding, education cannot be measured by the same standards for all people. The process of education does not stop after acquiring a degree. Education is a process that continues in the course of human life. We constantly explore the outside and the inner worlds. Thus, our entire life can be called an education because development is the highest goal in the life of humanity.

Undoubtedly, there is an endless number of possible types of education. The widely spread modern type of education was invented in the age of Enlightenment (The RSA). However, education can be unlimited. The process of studying is not only its modern model. One can educate oneself, study in a group, or hire private teachers. Besides, each of these processes can be organized by an unrestricted number of ways. Online studying is one of the widespread instruments helping to get necessary education today as well. Thus, the type of education can be personally invented.

In my opinion, attending college should fully depend on the desire of a student. There is no reason to force somebody. A person will not become a successful student under constraint. However, if the subjects are interesting for the student, he will make all efforts to study them. Much depends on the personalities of teachers as well. Of course, the type of organizing lessons plays an important role. Thus, the usefulness of attending college should be considered in every specific situation. Predominantly, reasonability of this decision depends on the desire of a student.

Some advantages of attending college are awareness of current opinions in a specific sphere and constant interaction with groups of other students. However, I think the disadvantages are more significant. In the current era of internet and easy access to information, one can find almost everything by oneself. However, colleges usually organize their studies by standardizing them. Thus, a creative person can feel uncomfortable in such circumstances. In such a way, colleges provide collaborative experience, but hardly develop creativity.

Making learning more exciting for students is not an easy thing to do. I think, that the entire system of modern education should be reorganized. There is no need to put same marks for different people as people are unique. It is not effective to study same subjects as well. A person should be encouraged to study, but not forced to complete lots of american government essays for example, etc. I think, that it is indispensable for a student to have an opportunity of choosing the subjects that are interesting for him or her. Besides, knowledge should be more closely connected to current world events. We have to avoid the situation when people do not know what to do in the real world after graduation. Learning should be more interactive and based on real experience.

Such countries as Finland have better educational systems because they are not afraid of changes. They are ready to face the needs of modern days. They are willing to reconstruct the educational system. Lack of fear to make a mistake is a very important aspect in the process of development. Everybody makes mistakes. The most significant task is to learn from them.

Thus, educational process cannot stay unchanged for many years in order to be effective. The system focused on acquiring new knowledge has to react quickly to the changes of modern world. One must like the subjects he/she studies in order to achieve success in learning.
