WoW: Dragonflight Alpha Launches Today, and lets select players Experience Reworked Classes and A New Zone

Blizzard announced that phase one of the Dragonflight alpha test begins today, July 14. 2022. It is the World of Warcraft expansion's alpha will let players explore the brand-new Azure Span zone, plays as the Dracthyr Evoker and ride dragons and test out new features.

Azure Span Azure Span is the name of a tundra region, which is populated by the humanoid walrus species Tuskarr blue dragons, gnolls, and Furbolg. It's one in the expansion's Dragon Isles, and is inspired by its counterpart, the Redwoods of California, along with the previous WoW zone Grizzly Hills. It's the largest zones in WoW to date , and has the most dramatic elevation changes.

The alpha will also let players try out both large and small gameplay adjustments. Blizzard has announced that the only Dracthyr character available in the moment is the Evoker WOW WoTLK Classic Gold However, it may allow more classes in future. Also, in other news about classes, the Alpha will allow players to play with modifications in the Death Knight, Druid, Hunter, Priest, and Rogue classes, as well as the new talent trees. Players will also have the ability to observe improvements to the Alchemy or Blacksmithing professions. This includes new crafting stations , as well as professional equipment.
