Although it's been a problem for a couple of weeks on Xbox and PlayStation 4, more reports of the console crash started popping up in recent months about players experiencing major issues trying to play NBA 2K22 on Xbox Series X or S as we previously reported ourselves a couple of weeks ago.

There have been a few reports of problems loading NBA 2K22 onto Xbox Series X/S. The console crashed, and then displayed a message telling users that poor ventilation had caused the console to shut down.

It seems like there are no issues with ventilation for console gamers, but some glitch is triggering it.

NBA 2K22 hasn't been the only game that has issues because other players started to post recently that they received the same message when trying to play Madden 22 and FIFA 22 too, with FIFA 22 only available as part of the EA Play 10 hour free trial right now.

This is more fascinating due to the fact that this error is the result of two games by 2K Sports, and two from EA Sports, which are all sports games.

Now a few days later however, it appears to remain an issue, as per the Xbox Status page, which has a problem with NBA 2K22 but states it's near an answer.

An additional interesting point is that Dexerto reports that they had an update tweet that stated that they were investigating issues regarding Madden 22 and FIFA 22 in the same way as previously mentioned however, that tweet has since been removed completely due to a reason.
