The Backrooms is a survival horror video game in which you will travel through a variety of settings, including levels, corridors, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. The game is based on a myth that is extensively spread all over the internet in many forms. Every area or level contains its own one-of-a-kind collection of hostile beings, which may take the form of monsters, entities, or a combination of the two. You are going to have to commit the qualities of each level to memory if you want to successfully navigate the maze and emerge from it unscathed.

In the future game, all of the players will be confined to a single room for reasons that have not yet been revealed. The entirety of the room is dominated by faded wallpaper with a yellowish tone, a carpet with apparent wetness, and fluorescent lights. The goal of the game for the player is to keep moving ahead within the maze in order to find the exit within the allocated time and emerge triumphant from the challenge.

The "maze beyond reality" requires players to move through it with extreme caution because the individual rooms have been designed to look exactly alike and contain unidentified "things." Additionally, your nerves are going to be put under additional stress due to the presence of indistinct noises and laughter that is not typical of the environment. If "it" finds you, there will be no place for you to hide; therefore, the only alternative you have is to get away as swiftly as you can. Don't get caught, the backrooms!
