When you first arrive in New World, there is a plethora of things to discover and explore. Even though a lot is obvious and driven towards by the game's narrative, there are a few other useful tips and tricks that aren't as obvious but can be useful in both the early and late stages of the game.

In the New World, resources are essential. If you don't need these items, you can always sell them at the Trading Post, new world coins for sale but they are definitely worth collecting for the skill XP they provide you.

Keep your resources on hand as much as possible.
While you are gathering resources, there will come a point when you will need to empty your inventory.
Traveling while carrying an excessive amount of weight is nearly impossible to accomplish.

Make sure to store everything you aren't going to use before you go on a quick trip to save money on the cost of transportation.
