Scouting report Expect great things from Alabama O

Earlier this week, West Monroe (La.) offensive tackle Cameron Robinson -- the nation's -- committed to Alabama. It was Tarik Cohen Jersey a big day for the big lineman. In Tuscaloosa, they called it Wednesday. That's right, it was another big-time recruit choosing the Crimson Tide over a host of suitors this one in particular stung in Baton Rouge. Robinson's commitment to Alabama is something the college football world has grown to expect and accept. Here's 's TJ Gaynor's breakdown of the future Alabama lineman.Scouting Report: OT Cameron Robinson, West Monroe (La.) High SchoolWHAT STANDS OUT: Raw Power. Listed at 6-6, 325 pounds, Robinson is a mountain of a man. High cut and long-limbed, he carries his weight extremely well. He's ble sed with tremendous natural strength throughout his trunk, core and thighs. When he's able to load up and uncoil all of that ma s through his hips and into an opponents body, the results can be devastating.-- He explodes through defenders in the run game and stuns all comers with his punch.-- Plays with extremely heavy, violent hands and knows how to use them.-- His movement is remarkably sudden for his size William Perry Jersey . Robinson doesn't roll off the ball and just lean on people; he comes off the ball hard, uses his shoulder and levels everything in his path. He has the explosivene s to knock people off their feet and is fluid enough to pull and po se ses the coordination to deliver a blow on a moving target in space.-- Leonard Floyd Jersey Robinson excels at the down block, routinely caving in the entire left side of the line against high school defenses. Displays a nasty streak at times and will work to finish his blocks.-- He plays with tremendous pa sion -- he's often sprinting down the field right behind or alongside ballcarriers on long touchdown runs.MORE: | WHAT NEEDS DEVELOPMENT: Flexibility. As nimble as Robinson is going forward, his ability to move laterally and backward while maintaining his balance needs work. His hip flexors, hamstrings and Achilles tendons are all a little tight.-- He also has limited range of motion in some of his lower extremities, especially his ankles. This causes him to lose his balance or fall off of blocks. That ability to bend the knees and flex the ankles is critical to maintaining great balance in pa s protection, so he'll need to improve there if he wants to take over for Cyrus Kouandjio. If he's able to remedy those i sues, I see him as a premier collegiate left tackle. Otherwise he'll probably end up at guard or, more Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Jersey likely, right tackle.WHAT'S NEXT: Great things. Robinson is a tremendous talent, and regardle s of how he develops his flexibility, he's good enough to be playing in the SEC right now. He should play early and often -- the only question is where he lines up. He intends to enroll early. A suming that happens, he'll be blowing open huge holes for TJ Yeldon and the Tide backs from Day 1 next fall.-- TJ Gaynor was a two-time All-Pac-10 offensive lineman at Stanford. During his time on the Farm, he played for a long list of great coaches, including Hall of Famer Bill Walsh. After tryouts with the 49ers and Lions, Gaynor spent time as a high school coach and analyst for Anthony Miller Jersey Scout.com. He is 's senior recruiting analyst.
