Melvin Gordons single-game rushing record didnt last long, but he just might be looking to something bigger.The Wisconsin running back became the 23rd player to top 2, Keith Smith Jersey 000 rushing yards in a season Saturday against Iowa.A week after rushing for 408 yards, Gordon entered the game against the Hawkeyes with 1,909 yards. He ran 31 times for 200 yards and two TDs in the win and ended the day tied with Ron Dayne atop the school's single-season rushing yardage list with 2,109 yards. Dayne held the top two spots he ran for 2,034 yards in 1999 until Gordon moved past him in the first Mike Davis Jersey half Saturday.Dayne and Gordon are tied for the 11th-best single season and Gordon has a game next week against Minnesota. The winner will play in the Big Ten championship game.
