There's zero reason for an overreaction that isnt confined to a few hundred memes. Theyre coming, too.The Utes were expected to win this Will Holden Jersey game. The Wolverines havent won a true road opener since 1991. This isnt news.Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock threw three interceptions. He mi sed four wide-open receivers on what would've-could've-should've pa ses. He served up the back-breaking "pick six" to Utahs Justin Thomas. Thats going to create the Rudock-or-Shane Morris discu sion. Thats close, but still not it.Michigans running game, the staple of the program, isnt there yet. When the Wolverines can run the ball between the tackles, all those other questions will be answered. Harbaugh was asked about that running game at Big Ten Media Days in July."Where do we want it to be?" Harbaugh asked back. "We want it Scott Daly Jersey to be dominant."Its nowhere near that. Case in point: Trailing 24-10 with 5:13 remaining, Michigan couldnt pick up a fourth-and-1. De'Veon Smith was stoned behind the line of scrimmage. Four yards used to be implicit at Michigan. It's a proce s now.The Wolverines rushed 13 times for 25 yards in the first half. Michigan had 16 rushing attempts for 51 yards in the second half. It still adds up to 29 attempts, 76 yards, 2.6yards per carry. Theres your problem.Try not to overreact. Harbaugh is in that mode, even when it comes to thatrunning game."The offensive line is a good example," Harbaugh said in the postgame pre s conference. "After the first half we got our running game going. That was good to see."Smith finished with 17 carries for 47 yards. Ty Isaac added four carries for 12 yards. Derrick Green, Shane Zylstra Jersey a former five-star recruit, had two carries for oneyard. The lack of a running game stre ses Rudock, and that leads tointerceptions. Utah's run defense is solid, but it still allowed 146.8 rushing yards per game last season. Let's not oversell that.What else did we learn? Michigan is going to be a tough out because of a defense that limited Utahs Devontae Booker to 3.1 yards per carry.A few playmakers stepped up in receiver Amara Darboh (eight catches, 101 yards, one TD) and tight end Jake Butt (eight catches, 93 yards, oneTD).Rudock might not be the answer at quarterback, or he might have to be a take-it-or-leave-itone-year answer DeShon Elliott Jersey at quarterback. He was 17 of 26 for 185 yards in the second half, albeit with the dagger interception. Dont expect Morris to start in Week 2. Rudock should improve with Harbaugh.On that note,Harbaugh hysteria is far from over. The lo s didnt feel like Rich Rodriguezs opener against Utah in 2008, even though that game was closer.
