Dustin Johnson was tied for the lead with Henrik Stenson at 5-under after the first round of the U.S. Open, and is playing with Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia again on Friday. He picked up his second straight sand save for par. Scott (+1) mi sed a tricky downhill par putt and walked away with bogey. He mi sed the putt on the low side and fell back into a three-way tie for the lead. Scott (+1) two-putted the final hole for par to shoot a 1-over 71. Garcia (+5) three-putted for bogey and will now need help making the cut.
