Internals

Pearl is a three-way three coaxial speaker. The tweeter is coaxial with a 13cm if driver. The 25cm woofer is located on the same axis but emits backward. Three class D amplifiers provide power, 300 watts for mid-range and tweeter speakers, and 1000 watts for wireless speakers. This is really charming.

The bandwidth reference is 14Hz – 27khz, and the lower number is -6db "indoor". Even at 1000wpc, this looks optimistic, although the 14Hz test tone does make the bass cone swing wildly. To be fair, the 20Hz tone produced a clear bass, which I didn't expect.

Connectivity

The input is located at the bottom of the rear of Pearl and includes Toslink, USB-a, and RCA analog (the latter is converted to digital signal processing). USB is used for drives, not computers. The complete configuration includes RJ45 network and IEC power sockets, a network pairing button, two status LEDs, and a miniature power switch. Bluetooth 4.2 is available as well as Wi-Fi, which is good for me (I do have good Wi-Fi). As usual, it is recommended to use a wired network to ensure the stability of the network - just string an Ethernet cable on each pearl.

application program

SODLK provides multiple ways of connection in IOS and Android. The tidal connection is about to expire. Music can be played from the USB memory plugged into a pearl.

SODLK itself has better control of applications. Yes, it's simple and easy to navigate. It also looks good, especially in the horizontal mode of the tablet. My personal complaint is just to list my favorite albums by name. I need to add a date. However, tidal connections will solve this problem.

In use, its lag is obviously due to its Bluetooth low-energy connection entering standby mode to save power. I found that I prefer to use the application rather than the remote control provided.

In general, everything was well considered and the effect was very good. The only quirk is the soft click sound when the loud speakers exit the standby and synchronization states. Similarly, when the music stops, first one speaker, then the next speaker. It's no big deal to get used to it.
