Former Cowboys star Dez Bryant eyes NFL return with Cardinal

Dez Bryant has played sparingly over the last four seasons since his release from the Cowboys. In fact, he has played in just six games total since the end of the 2017 season. All came with the Ravens in 2020.

Considering that Bryant has remained unsigned for about three-and-a-half of the last four seasons, many believe his Kelvin Herrera Jersey career is over. However, Bryant isn't ready to officially call it quits yet despite that limited action.

"I'm not retired," last week. "But I am living."

NFL DRAFT GRADES:

Bryant said that he is "almost" in game shape and seems to believe that he could get up to speed quickly if signed by Raul Mondesi Jersey an NFL team. He also knows which team he would like to play with if he returns in 2022: the Arizona Cardinals.

I love the swagger over there," Bryant said of the Cardinals. "I love the guys, especially DeAndre Hopkins. Thats my boy, were real close."

"My phone lines open," Bryant added when asked what he would tell Kansas City Royals Jersey the Cardinals. "I wouldnt mind playing with Rondale Moore, Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins. It's not even so much about starting just being in that locker room and being a great example."

MORE:

The Cardinals have long employed veteran-type receivers as part of their team. Larry Fitzgerald played with them through his age-37 season in 2020 while A.J. Green, 33, is in Alex Gordon Jersey his second season with the team now.

Could Arizona add another 33-year-old to the fold in Bryant? Maybe, but it doesn't seem likely. The Cardinals already have Hopkins, Green, Moore and Antoine Wesley Wily Peralta Jersey on the roster and just traded for Marquise Brown during the 2022 NFL Draft. They also have former second-round pick Andy Isabella on the roster, though he is not a lock to make the team in 2022.

MORE:

As such, it's hard to find a spot for Bryant with the Cardinals, especially considering the limited succe s he has had over the last five seasons. Even Blank Jersey still, Bryant is going to stay ready in case an NFL opportunity pops up. And he believes he will be ready to make an impact if signed.

"I love where I'm at," he said.
