The ninth anniversary of RuneScape gold OSRS coming up on February 22 Developer Jagex has put together an event in celebration of the longevity of OSRS. Most notably, however, the company based the event in the desert city of Al-Kharid, the gateway to the more extensive Kharidian desert.

Given that a major expansion of the desert will be in early 2022. This includes the fabled Raids 3 -- Tombs of Amascut -- Jagex seems to be taking this as a minor preview of what's in store for the original MMO.

For now the players are able to have a fun-filled weekend of fishing, cooking, and old-fashioned treasure hunting. Arnav who was waiting at the bank on the west side of Al-Kharid palace, dug up undiscovered treasure located in the city.

In a series of clues which are similar to the clue-scroll system, he demands the player with solving three different puzzles to figure out where this chest is. Enter the four statues which guard the central fountain within the courtyard of the palace of Al-Kharid. Make the dance emote and perform it, then the next clue should emerge.

Larry is OSRS GP located near an oasis in the northern part of the palace, which is near the gate leading to Al-Kharid. Larry oversees the fishing contest and will provide the player with the fishing equipment required to take part, however Larry will not inform the fisherman that nothing is allowed to catch in the oasis. Big Dave, a fellow fisherman participating in the contest has advised purchasing specialty lure from Ali Morrisane, a merchant located to the east of the oasis.
