A Rustic + Natural Summer Wedding in Latvia

We're going to the Latvian countryside today for a rustic summer wedding in a beautiful riverside Manor House.

There are gorgeous florals and also the most romantic gown in lace and tulle, an easy and heartfelt ceremony plus some wonderful Latvian traditions, too. Let's meet our happy couple, shall we?!

Aisha and Christof are generally doctors and were married around 14 July 2018 at, Mazmežotne in Latvia. Aisha is originally from Latvia (together with her parents hailing from Azerbaijan) and Christof is from northern Italy, plus they first met each other in 2011 while going for a Spanish language course in Alicante as part of their year-long ERASMUS placement. They went back and forth between Italy and Latvia for more than a year while Aisha finished her studies, and when she had also learned German, both of them found a location to live and interact in Tirol, Austria. In August 2016 Christof asked Aisha to marry him when they were at his favorite Austrian lake.

Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed canapés and drinks outside and Aisha and Christof slipped away for many sweet and private photos together. To capture their day, they chose, those who also are their friends, too!

I love creative, ethereal, and delightful designs, and also the fact that the feel of her creations could be altered with an easy slip change. She looked magical inside it, using its lace and mesh illusion bodice and tulle skirt.

"I wanted something comfortable, light and delicate (also due to the nature/rustic wedding theme). The sexy wedding dresses gave the effect of pure lightness, I felt like I was dressed up in a cloud. Aisha and her father walked together on the aisle to John Legend's song All Of Me, with Aisha carrying an attractive bouquet of white peonies, lisianthus, roses, eucalyptus, and olive branches.

The incredible venue space was decorated beautifully for that reception; festoon and fairy lights twinkling in the high wooden ceiling, hanging pots of ivy and potted palms around the floor, and also the green scheme carried through within the sage green candles and table cloths.
