Who can apply for the visa

The Business Talent (Permanent) visa is for highly skilled business people who want to live in Australia permanently. To be eligible for this visa, you must:

• *Score at least 65 points on the points test
• *Have at least three years of experience running a business
• *Own at least one-third of an innovative, viable and sustainable business
• *Meet the requirements of the General Skilled Migration Points Test

The base application fee is $3,670, but additional fees like English tests and police checks may also be needed. You'll also need to pay the visa application charge if you're applying from outside Australia.

The application process

1. *The first step is getting an interest expression from Skillselect.
2. *After that, you must submit an application with all the required documents.
3. *Once your application is received, it will be assessed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.
4. *If your application is successful, you will be invited to apply for a visa.
5. *After being granted a visa, you can travel to Australia and start your business! 
6. *To bring family members with you as dependents on this visa, they must also apply in one of the following categories: Senior Executive/Managerial Staff-Business Talent or Outstanding Professor or Expert in their Field-Business Talent.

Required documents

1. *A completed application form
2. *A current passport
3. *Two recent passport-sized photographs of yourself
4. *A copy of your birth certificate
5. *Proof of your English language skills, such as an IELTS or TOEFL test score or a letter from an approved English language school in Australia. Your results should be no more than two years old at the time you apply for this visa
6. *Evidence that you have sufficient funds to establish a business in Australia.

Eligibility criteria for the Investor visa 891

To be eligible for investor visa 891, you must:

• *Be nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency
• *Have a successful business or investment track record
• *Meet the age, English language, and health requirements
• *Be prepared to make a legally binding commitment to invest at least AUD$1.5 million in your business in Australia
• *Have access to at least AUD$5 million in personal and business assets.
