At Mission, you can study English, pass the TOEFL, complete the first two years of your undergraduate degree or complete a certificate in a career field, and transfer to a 4-year university such as a California State University or a University of California campus. "Hot" career fields include hospitality management, computer system administration, and childhood development. College can be an incredibly eye-opening, life-changing experience. There’s nothing quite like it. But saying these years are the best of your life is shortsighted to say the least. So many other life experiences are worth anticipating – your first “real” job, a family of your own, the time when you finally stop worrying what everyone else thinks of you and you’re free to become who you really are. College can be a defining moment of your life, but it’s certainly not the only one. The best is yet to come.

Summer session is 16 hours per week. The intensive English program begins in February, March, June, August and October. We admit students for the degree and certificate programs in February and August. Students should select MCC courses writingassignment.net according to their intended major at the four-year institution where they plan to transfer. Students wishing to transfer are strongly encouraged/ Tuition for the intensive program is $2000 for 8 weeks; $3500 for 16 weeks; $1800 for summer session.

Students who study in our intensive English program enjoy assured admission with no TOEFL-score to Mission College or our sister school, West Valley College in Saratoga, California. In addition, students who complete certain, specific requirements can enjoy an assured admission agreement with the CSU (California State University) System when they complete their Associates Degrees at Mission.

We have a brand new language laboratory, and literally hundreds of computers for students to use. We have been named a "most wired college" by Yahoo! Internet Magazine. MCC offers Liberal Arts courses that meet general education and pre-professional requirements for transferring into Bachelor degree programs at the University of Hawaii institutions and other accredited colleges and universities. MCC also offers certificates and degrees in over 17 Career and Technical Education fields. MCC's Maui Language Institute offers a strong ESL program for international students.
