The bride and groom are audit managers and dental therapists, who chose Paciano in Umbria, Italy for his or her nuptials on 7 July 2018.

“It was important to us to possess some shots drawn in the local town. They’d done their research on dads and moms before so around the wedding day they knew wherever to take us and didn’t waste whenever deciding on locations. We were just a little disappointed because the weather was turning but these were entirely unflappable in adjusting to the change within our plans. We’re playing the most perfect memories in our day.”

The couple planned their day for two years after John proposed in Venice on the tenth anniversary.

“I visited the university in John’s hometown and he visited the university in my hometown but somehow through mutual friends and a lot of shared interests we met. We were together for 10 years before we got engaged.”

“We always knew we desired to get married in Italy, preferably in Umbria. We wanted that it is a venue that was authentically Italian with sufficient accommodation for the guests and delightful views. This venue ticked all of our boxes in addition to being 5 minutes away in the town where John’s parents come with an apartment, therefore it just seemed perfect.”

The groom opted for any dapper tux, choosing it and adding shoes along with a watch, Lauren’s wedding gift to him.

“I’d had my attention on FeelTimes dresses from the beginning. I knew I wanted simple wedding dresses having a dramatic silhouette and all sorts of their dresses were exactly my style. I chose that one because I loved the cobra taffeta material, the detail within the straps behind, and… since it has pockets!”

John: “It was seeing Lauren enter the church and achieving everyone that knows and loves us within the same place at the same time.”

“We had the standard Italian civil wedding vows. While it’s just reciting the civil code we liked how it’s written – it’s about making shared decisions in the way you run your house and raise your kids, should you choose to possess any.”

Lauren and John look gorgeously happy because they step out as newlyweds before having their romantic portrait shots taken from the Umbrian stone buildings in the town. Lauren mentions this as her favorite moment of her day.

“It was whenever we went into the town with Grace and Mitch for pictures. There were not many around but whenever we noticed anyone they wished us congratulations in Italian! It is quiet and also the first time we’d properly spent whenever together; it had been exactly what we needed following the madness of your day leading up to that time.”

“We didn’t desire a ‘wedding color’ as such therefore we stuck to plenty of whites and greens. We knew the planet would be so beautiful that we’d have the ability to keep it simple using the styling, also it worked out within the end.”

“ was incredible, both within the run-up and around the day. We’d only hired Chiara for around-the-day coordination, which meant we sourced all of our suppliers. She went far above to support us within the preparation stages and extremely was invaluable. Calm, unflappable, knowledgeable, and thus friendly, I can’t recommend her enough.”

Night fell with it, dancing to reside music through the light of countless candles.

“We asked for any traditional Italian wedding cake, that is layers of pastry cream, Mille Feuille, and fresh berries. We loved it a lot and it had been so big we finished them back for breakfast with these guests.”

Words of Wedded Wisdom

“The best advice I was given was to consider some time from all your guests together with your new husband and make my way through because your day goes by so quickly. We were staying on-site therefore we were able to keep nipping back towards the room to possess some champagne along with a bit of a breather together. I’d recommend it, even just to possess a get caught up!”
