The amount of carbomer is usually between 0.1% and 0.5%.

Kapom must be thoroughly mixed or hydrated before use, otherwise it will not work properly and risks forming caking in the final recipe. After complete hydration, Carbomer is neutralized with sodium hydroxide to a pH of 6 or higher. At this point kapom becomes a gel structure.

Carbomer is specially formulated for cosmetic production and is not suitable for internal use. During neutralization, care should be taken to avoid contact with sodium hydroxide on the skin.

For consistency, the shear force (mixing amount) of carbom-based products should remain the same, as the viscosity of carbomji gel decreases as the shear force of the final product decreases.
