"It was certainly very upsetting to hear these kinds of situations," design director Rob Gallerani said to Axios (thanks, VGC). "And we really wanted to stand up for our colleagues and our co-workers."

Gallerani said that the management of the studio had asked employees to provide feedback about ways in which it could help its staff better and said that even though it had "heard a lot of really positive comments" however, it was vital that the management "always need to keep asking".

However, while the issue has seen Blizzard examine its games for inappropriate content like references to former employees that have been implicated in the sexual harassment lawsuit, no such issues were found during the development of Diablo 2: Resurrected, however its Amazon warrior was tweaked to make the appearance less sexual.

"A many of those points of view weigh very significantly on us," Gallerani added, adding that he took the decision to make sure people portrayed as warriors not people who "rolled out from the club".
