The game is a cross between Old School RuneScape offering players the experience of the classic 2006 and the shorter-lived DarkScape giving players more PvP-based game Cheap OSRS Gold. Developer Jagex has teamed up with board game developer Steamforged Games to release not only two tabletop games during the year of 2022.

Steamforged Games' partnership and Jagex is the latest in a series of collaborations bringing some of gaming's biggest franchises into a tabletop-based environment. The tabletop gaming powerhouse has previously created board games based upon series such as Monster Hunter World and Dark Souls and recently launched a massively successful Kickstarter campaign for a Resident Evil 2 board game raising over 1 million GBP earlier in the year.

Now, the developer has set its sights on Gielinor's world and RuneScape with plans to release both a board game and an RPG core book that can be played on tabletops in the coming year. The two RPG versions will include many of the most well-known characters from RuneScape and places, allowing groups of five or more players to challenge classic quests in RuneScape with the adventure within this world called Gielinor to the home of Gielinor.

Players can create and upgrade their equipment, communicate with NPCs, and take on numerous side quests inspired in the traditional MMORPG. The board game is scheduled to launch with runescape 07 gold the launch of a Kickstarter campaign later in the year while the core tabletop RPG book will debut in stores.
