We’ve seen luxurious themed colourways of the legendary silhouette for the University of North Carolina, Michigan, and the Florida Gators, and now we’ve got a better look at the rendition finessed for Marquette.Finessed for the school’s basketball program, the shoe arrives in Marquette’s trademark blue hue. The upper is elevated with the classic elephant print all over, just like the other AJ5 PEs we’ve seen in 2021.
This Air Jordan 5 comes dressed in Marquette’s signature mixture of navy and yellow shades, the shoe is centered around an upper constructed of rich blue elephant print leather. Signature mesh netting on the quarter and throat is left clear for contrast. Tongues supply a powder blue shade and boast Marquette’s MU badge in place of a standard Jumpman graphic. Yellow is used for trim on the collar and tongue, while also making its presence felt on the lace toggle. Down below, the midsole is done up in white with speckled yellow gracing its signature jagged peaks. Blue contrast stitching on the toe bumper and an icy blue outsole round off the look.
The Jordan Delta SP Black emerges with a classic two-tone look. Built with mesh and suede, the upper appears entirely in black, with a padded collar and dual pull-loops supporting the fit. Underfoot, the contrasting white midsole incorporates React foam for cushioning, giving way to a herringbone traction pattern on the outsole.
