Nostradamus is the French astrologer and doctor who is said to have accurately foretold some of the most monumental events in history.

From the Great Fire of London to Adolf Hitler's rise to power and the horrors of the Second World War and from the French Revolution to the creation of the atomic bomb, Nostradamus's predictions have been eerily accurate.

He is even said to have known John F Kennedy would be assassinated and the 9/11 terror attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York would happen, according to Mirror reports.

Nostradamus predicted soldiers will get brain chip implants while asteroids, solar storms and record famines will devastate humanity in 2021, according to legend.

California will also be hit by a major earthquake as Russia unleashes a zombie apocalypse in the new year, Nostradamus is also said to have predicted.

His top six prophecies for the end of the world in the next 12 months are also said to include a weapon that will create a virus that turns people to zombies and leaves us extinct.

He wrote: "Few young people: half−dead to give a start. Dead through spite, he will cause the others to shine, And in an exalted place some great evils to occur.
