Wild, Bold + Sensual

It's this type of pleasure right now to be able to feature the job of my lovely friend.

Helen is an incredibly talented stylist who's immensely enthusiastic about supporting the firms she works together with.

"Overflowing with character, a surprise around every single corner you turn, Penpont truly is a venue of undeniable beauty, filled with incredible possibilities, and to be honest, it's one of the most spectacular venues in Wales to host your vows."

The Bridal Look

For our first look, enigmatic and ethereal, we chose a blush pink overlay gown with intricate detailing and enchanting floral embroidery.

The look was finished with delicate drop earrings that lent the outfit soft femininity.

The Outfit Change

The second look took on the romantic yet bohemian vibe. Long tumbling tresses, silky satins, and also the finest guipure lace; a divine gown with fluted sleeves paired having a cathedral length veil from EW Couture embellished with delicate embroidered floral petals in pastel hues.

The gown was a complete showstopper – a heavily embellished breathtaking lace boho wedding dress that's hand-embroidered with intricate glass beads.

Decor and Blooms

I desired to work closely using the team of creatives to produce something just a little different… I craved moody blues and greys to include drama, juxtaposing with opulent jewel tones throughout.

I sourced linen which had a fun yet dramatic print onto it with leopards and monkeys and added a dash of luxury using the gold cutlery. I asked Beth to create the drama towards the table; she made a runner overflowing and bountiful using the likes of ornamental cabbages, and metallic ferns together with bright pops of cockscomb. It ran from end to finish and then elegantly meandered its in place the olive tree in the center from the orangery.

Stationery

I adored the raw elegance of the khaki paper utilized in the stationery. All of the pieces were hand-painted in watercolor before adding a delicious metallic flourish while using the art of contemporary calligraphy.

Sweet Treats

An impressive, multiple-tier black forest gateau was the star of the show, along with a chocolate pavlova and probably the most dreamy brownies I have ever seen (or eaten). Zoe made everyone's mouth water on set.

Photography

Capturing the shot was wildly talented. His editorial eye created some of the most amazing photos and I am still in awe of the job this man can do by having a reflection or two.

He captured the vision for that entire shoot in a wide array of bold and honest images and I know I couldn't have requested a better photographer to interpret the general vision of this shoot.
